The research does not provide public records-office hours, so call before an in-person visit. The Sheriff is the custodian for county booking and custody records. Police departments hold their own incident reports and daily logs, while courts maintain proceedings and dispositions.
- For a booking record or photo, use the Home page’s official request path, then contact the Sheriff if county intake occurred.
- For a possible warrant, use Wanted Fugitives and contact the correct court clerk or a lawyer.
- For a recent local arrest, contact the arresting city or town police department. Quincy, Brookline, and Dedham routes appear on their city pages.
- For release or current county custody, call the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office. No verified public county roster exists.
- For a court outcome, search MassCourts where available and contact the relevant District or Superior Court clerk.
- For a person sentenced to state prison, use the Massachusetts Department of Correction and VINE. DOC does not handle county jail requests.
- For federal or eligible immigration custody, use the federal BOP or ICE locator, which cover different populations and do not provide a Norfolk booking feed.
